(Photo by Sawat Katengam)SA KAEO - A second group of residents of Ban Nong Mak Ue in Watthana Nakhon district has asked local authorities to take action against a waste treatment plant emitting foul smells near their homes. They found the waste stabilisation pond to be in such poor condition it could not be used for waste treatment. The visiting villagers and industrial office officials also found an abundance of untreated toxic waste piled up outside the facility. He said the untreated waste would not be allowed to affect the environment and the company was acting quickly to solve the smelly problem .
